HBO’s Game of Thrones series was a pop culture phenomenon, winning 59 Primetime Emmys, becoming a merchandising juggernaut, and ushered in a generation of kids named “Khaleesi.” Replicas of various weapons and armor were sold throughout the years, but the time has come for fans to own their own piece of Westeros.More than 2,000 items, including the “shame” bell, Jamie Lannister’s Oathkeeper, numerous helmets, cloaks, and props are being distributed across 900 lots on the auction block through Heritage Auctions. The series of auctions will run through mid-October.If you’re not into armor or weapons, items such as dragon eggs from Season 1 are currently at $3,600. In the 18 months since its release, Hogwarts Legacy has emerged as one of the biggest hits of Warner Bros. Discovery’s video game division. To date, 24 million copies of the game have been sold across all consoles and PC. Although a follow-up game hasn’t been formally announced, WBD isn’t being ambiguous about its plans. According to one executive with the company, getting a sequel to the Harry Potter-inspired title is at the top of WBD’s wish list.”[The video game industry] is, just like the film business, a hit-driven business,” explained WBD CFO Gunnar Weidenfels via The Hollywood Reporter. “Obviously a successor to Hogwarts Legacy is one of the biggest priorities in a couple years down the road.”Weidenfels didn’t offer any other details about a potential Hogwarts Legacy sequel, but his remarks seem to indicate that the next game is still years away at the earliest. The original game was developed by Avalanche Software and the story was set roughly a century before the life of Harry Potter. Players were given the freedom to create their own characters, who are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and that proved to be very enticing to action RPG gamers.Unfortu…
After almost a decade since Hugh Jackman last portrayed Wolverine, he had to get back in prime shape. On his social media, the actor thanked his special team of trainers with creating his exercise and diet routine. There was also a special ingredient to making him look lean and glistening on camera when he wasn’t donning Wolverine’s yellow and blue costume: lube. “Honestly I just wanted to take a second to say yeah, I had to do those deadlifts and eat those meals but I had an incredible team that helped me,” Jackman said. He went on to name the eight people who helped him, mainly Beth Lewis who has worked with the X-Men actor before. Then there was Whitney, his makeup artist.

Star Wars Outlaws is the first open-world Star Wars game ever, but it seems that this galactic low-life adventure isn’t quite living up to sales expectations. Ubisoft’s share price has fallen 12.6% since Outlaws released on August 27, and it now sits at the lowest level since 2015.Ubisoft’s sales target for Star Wars Outlaws is unclear–the company didn’t announce a public number–but the market results indicate that it’s not a hit. Per Reuters, JP Morgan analyst Daniel Kerven said that the game has “struggled to meet sales expectations despite positive critical reviews.” The analyst lowered his sales expectations for the game from 7.5 million to 5.5 million through March 2025, noting that Outlaws’ budget was at least 30% higher than last year’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
